If you are interested you can let us know at john@dswac.ca
The weekend of July 9-11, 2022 there was another special dry stone wall course given by John Shaw-Rimmington and Mark Ricard at Sweet Life Farm near Madoc Ontario. It was a lot of fun
A special four day 'entrance way' workshop was offered for students from beginners to professional level, as there was a spectrum of techniques and skills covered .

Our two day intensive walling course at a lovely farm property, just over an hours drive from Toronto, was lots of fun. The whole wall with arch was almost completed by 9 enthuisatic students June 27 and 28. The finishing touches were done two days later on Canada Day
Here are pics of the crew and what the final arch/wall looks like.

From a large pile of left over stones from a previous DSWAC workshop several years ago, HSAD students built a lovely stretch of granite fieldstone wall. The course lasted a week and included field trips to quarrys and collecting rocks from a local farm. During heavy rainy periods there were classroom presentations and videos.

Well done, Dave, Craig, Herb, Warren, John and Nick
