Orillia Dry Stone Wall Workshop 2010
The two day workshop in Orillia Ontario went well.
DSWA Workshop south of San Francisco, California
Students learned about dry stone wall techniques including cheekends, throughs, stiles, batter, hearting and copes. We will used a local random stone and built a beautiful permanent wall on Lyngso property where it is visible for anyone to take visitors or prospective clients to see. We built a small arch too.

The Champlain Park Garden Club welcomed John Shaw-Rimmington founder of the DSWAC who showed slides of dry stone garden features and spoke on the need for creating a sense of history in Canadian Gardens, at 7 p.m. at the fieldhouse at Champlain Park, Cowley and Clearview.
