A lovely old retaining wall runs east out of Beamsville on King Street.
We are not sure when this dry stone wall was built .
The end of this old retaining wall in Beamsville Ontario is beginning to loose the battle with the trees growing so near to it.
It is ironic that living things such as trees and shrubs usually prevail over inanimate structures of rock and stone if they are not kept in check.
