Here are two shots of an amazing wall near Black Creek in Prince Edward County, Ontario. This stretch of wall (over a mile long) is believed by many to have been built by the Loyalist army stationed in the area over 200 years ago! Much of the wall is in good condition, due partly to its excellent construction, wide dimensions, and proper use of through stones. The bedrock lying so close to the surface may also have something to do with it's 'durability'. This wall should be designated as a National Heritage Site.
