On September 23-24, 2010 students at the Willowbank School of Restoration Arts in Queenston Ontario completed a two-day hands-on workshop with the DSWAC and rebuilt a raised garden bed at the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens.
Willowbank Restoration Students taking the DSWAC dry stone workshop were taken to see the Cheese Wedge built at the Botanical Gardens 4 years ago during that year's flower and garden show.
The 'Veg Wedge' was built by horticultural students taking a DSWAC course at the Niagara School of Horticultural in 2008. Norman Haddow and John Shaw-Rimmington led the workshop. It was designed as a permanent dry stone support for climbing plants. This year it has luffa vines growing on it.
