A five day dry stone sculpture course at Haliburton School of the Arts - Fleming College this July yielded a special climbing feature called 'Spiral Ascending' . Nine students under the direction of John Shaw-Rimmington created this structure from 20 tons of local quarried granite. It was a commissioned piece built especially for the sculpture forest behind the school. There are three arched niches and a grass covered ramp leading up to the lookout area.
