DSWAC Volunteer Build of a Traditional Dry Stone Wall

Here are some of the happy wallanteers who helped build the demonstration dry stone wall at the Victoria Highland Games this spring. Congratulations to Kevin, Adam, Jay, John Christopher and Jose´ who worked tirelessly during the three days of the games to build a fine example of a regulation wall complete with foundation, proper batter, through-stones and vertical coping. The basalt which comes from Squamish B C was supplied by Kevin Maloney and paid for by the Victoria Highland Games. Thanks to all the organizers for making this such a successful event.
