Lindsay Ontario

A well constructed wall built with quarried dolomite limestone north of Lindsay Ontario.
This fairly new gate entrance has been skillfully constructed by cutting the stones to create a very formal look. This particular stone material adapts itself well to this style. The stone is easily pitched and can be 'worked' if necessary to create an entire wall of uniform running courses. This beautiful quarried stone can also be used to create several other pleasing styles of wall if it's not worked too much. This requires the builder carefully fit the natural, more weathered, random shapes into pleasing rubble and random-rubble coursed walls.
