I am delighted to be able to tell you about an event happening this June 6th in Port Hope. Richard Rhodes is coming to speak at the BlouRoom to talk about stone and stonework at 730. He came here in 2007 and spoke to a full house at the library and then spoke again later that evening to a second full house of people who otherwise would have been turned away due to the size of the room. Richard is a dynamic speaker and has recently written a book on stone, ‘Stone, Ancient Craft to Modern Mastery’. Copies of the book will be available for sale at the event.
