The caliber of walling students we had for Dr Dan's gate wall project was first rate. They meshed well together and learned a lot about walling in a way that incorporated angled faces and random diamond shaped granite.

This second DSWAC in Metchosin B C  taught the basics of dry stone walling as students built a dry stone entrance wall of Jordon River quarried brown stone. Students got two full days of hands-on instruction by DSWAC founder John Shaw-Rimmington as well as printed teaching material. Two scrumptious lunches were served up by Dr Dan who hosted this event. Thanks to BC waller Christopher Barclay and guest waller from the UK, Danny Woodward for all their help preparing and helping participants get the project completed in good time by Sunday afternoon.
